Quizno's Loves The Smiths?

Postby DJ Phoenix » Wed Apr 21, 2010 7:18 pm

I was eating @ Quizno's Wed...when all of a sudden, blaring out from some stereo, was the Smiths "What difference does it make". This was while I was in the store eating. There was a girl in the store, sitting behind me, and she turned around and we looked @ each other(when song was playing), and we both said" Nice call!". It was cool.

The lady behind the counter told me that the owner is a huge new wave fan(at least the owner of that store here in Vegas). Then, The Cure "A Forest" came on...I didnt want to leave...LOL.

Any fast food chain that can make the following commercial is just fine in my book.

I think Vegas has a thing for The Smiths (and the Killers).

The Shoprite in Middletown, NJ has been playing 80s New-Wave/Alternative in the store for the past week or two.

I now look forward to food shopping... although I am getting odd looks as I sing along.

Waiting to hear 'Lost In A Supermarket' :)
