I used to be able to solve it in a couple of hours. The hard part was getting the corners aligned. Once that was accomplished, I knew how to move the 2-side edge pieces where I wanted them without messing up the corners.

I don't have the patience for it now.

I had a cube, and mastered it--using a solutions book! heh heh. However I did solve all the others on my own--pyramix, Whip it! and the Missing Link.

Could never do any better than one side on the cube although I did find Rubik's Magic easy to do, unlike the clock where I couldn't get anyway with it, completely baffling.

Smashing.
Er.. pardon the pun.

Mind you.. Getting past the dragon in the last ninja was not easy.. but easier than a rubiks cube!!!

I once went a year and a half trying to master the Rubik's Cube. It became a true hardcore obsession 4 me. Never made it past three sides though. In the end I tried peeling off the stickers, but that just ruined everything. So I just ended up taking the thing and tossed it through the window pane. LOL.
