WTF? I'm watching tv today and I hear " 4...3...2...1" in the background, but hearing some OTHER girl singing it. I had to keep listening, then I got pissed. Please....STOP!!!! If you're going to use the song...at least use the original?

If the artist agrees to it and can make some money, why shouldn't they? Doesn't impact my day or cause anything life-changing for me. If I hear an originla, or a cover version, and it is not to my liking, it doesn't upset me or ruin my day. It's just a song, it's not life-altering. Not even remotely worth getting me upset. If someone doing a version of a song upsets me, I really got some problems.

and I'll give the same reply I did then:

"it's Shiny Toy Guns, one of the most awesome new wave revival bands of the last decade. It's on their recent remix compilation CD."

I just bought this CD, and I second budaniel. It sounds rather less self-consciously kitschy than a lot of other new-wave revivalists. Thumbs up.

They also do a good cover of Taco's version of "Puttin' on the Ritz."
