Grammys 2005

Postby schwenko » Sun Feb 13, 2005 11:27 am

Well, here is what I know as of now concerning the little NWO-related aspect of this year's Grammy awards.

1. Franz Ferdinand performed maybe a third of "Take Me Out" in the opening sequence of the show (and the video is nominated for best ? video), although they lost best "alternative" act (Wilco won that category).

2. The Talking Heads box set "Once In a Lifetime" won for best limited edition box set packaging.

Ditto Kimiiii, I just about lost it that year Sting sold out and sang with puff diddy, in the tribute to that biggy guy that was killed. Maybe that was the MTV awards. Ahhh, who cares, as long as i have my ipod [:D]

Yes, Melissa has been undergoing treatment for breast cancer. I didn't think the "stupid" black gospel segment was all that bad. Mavis Staples was great as always as well as the Blind Boys of Alabama. And I am assuming that "idiot" rapper you mention w

It depends on what kind of music you're talking about. Pop? Rap? Rock? A lot of it is becoming watered down over time so thats the basis behind the tone in the posts.

No anger in mine, only feelings of full grown bordom.
