Thanks for this-- I've been curious about their new material. This song seems a bit underwhelming, though. I've listened to it a couple of times and it doesn't seem like a strong single.

I was actually pleasantly surprised that it didn't completely suck, as seems to happen with many aging bands. The song is catchy enough, I think they represented quite well.

It could have been worse, ie the last Duran2, Pretenders, Paul Weller, etc.

Yeah, I was just hoping for much better. The only thing this song has going for it is a snappy beat. Nothing else delivers: The verse has no hooks, the lyrics are plain awful, and the chorus is the mutant spawn of a dozen other Neil Finn melodies. [xx(]

[/quote]The first night show got a terrific write-up in the NJ papers. I'm kicking myself for missing those, but I'm hoping to catch them at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair next month.
