Very" Cure" like. Their newest release "Change in the neon light" is very much worth picking up.

Like this album very much as well. Can listen from start to finish without skipping songs, although all songs are in an iTunes playlist which I use daily.

Rather than do all the work I have piling up, I've been compiling a playlist of all my favorites produced since the year 2000. The albums with the most entries are "Midnight of the Century" by Blacklist, "The Divide" by Romance and this one by Veil Veil Vanish. Anyone have any other suggestions of bands/albums in a similar vein as these?

Would have to be in my top ten favorites of the past ten years. Listened to Fantasies again recently and have to say it's growing on me. I'll have to revisit Live It Out & Grow Up and Blow Away.

Have Howl Howl Gaff Gaff & Work by Shout Out Louds. Found Our Ill Wills less appealing for whatever reason. Thanks for your input. Any further recommendations would be appreciated, too.

I forgot to mention the other complete new wave channeling guilty pleasure, Ladyhawke...

Funny you mention the Ladyhawke as I've been re-acquainting myself with some 'couple years back' releases that I'd never really given the proper time for. Just terrific. If you've never, listen!!

Ditto with M83's "Saturdays=Youth". If you ever wondered what happened to the greatness of Prefab Sprout (maybe I'm the only one who does?) - - well, this is the album you waited for!!
