Nancy Martinez "For Tonight"

Anyone like this tune?

I know it's not quite "new wave"... I enjoy this song a lot and it never seems to get old when I listen to the STREET REMIX I also hear things I never heard when listening to it previous times. It's one of those songs that never gets old for me and I can always seem to want to get up and dance when hearing those beats. I only know this one song, did she have any others worth checking out? I have her on Dance Traxx Vol. 2 along with the 12" single from 1986.

Thanks, Justin/DevoManiac

I LOOOOOVE that song!!

Definitely not new wave: somewhere in between early 80s non-disco dance music and freestyle, but totally quality track. I have it on 45 vinyl. Nany Martinez was one hit wonder as far as I know.

It was definitely in that post-new wave - pre-frestyle era. I had it on a cassette tape sandwiched between Taffy's "I Love My Radio (Midnight Radio)" and Debbie Harry "Feel The Spin" .... I loved that tape [:)]
