Sorry, Unless I misunderstood the original question, it is quoted above... Naked Eyes were a duo at the time their fantastic debut album was released in 1983, and one of my favorites... did I miss something?

Austrian duo Peter and Ina Wolf sang as Wolf & Wolf and as Vienna..
they were also songwriters of pop songs for others... most notably Starship's "Sara"...

I think those would be Duets... two artists coming together for a song. I think that's a bit different from a duo, where there are 2 members in one band, no?
