These are the new wave cover songs I've come up with so far:

Blondie's "Hanging on the Telephone"
Soft Cell's "Tainted Love"
Cindy Lauper's "Money Changes Everything"
Grace Jones "Private Life"
Bangles "Hazy Shade of Winter"
Midge Ur "The Man Who Sold the World"
Minimal Compact "Immigrant Song"

Must be a ton more.

Man, there are a ton! I did not know about the other thread on this topic. My faves are probably "Satisfaction," "Tainted Love," and "The Passenger," but I haven't heard many of them.

Japan - "All Tomorrow's Parties," "I Second That Emotion" and "Ain't That Peculiar."

"Peculiar" may be my favourite Motown cover by anyone New Wave, frankly.
