There's now an official video for "Sad Song". Based on these two songs, it sounds like they're aiming for the Shake It Up and Heartbeat City sound. I'd prefer that they go back further.

Ric just shouldn't sing slow songs. If they can get Nat King Cole to sing a duet with Natalie, they can get Ben to sing here.

I might buy 3 or 4 songs, but not the whole album. Unfortunately, there's too much filler.

I hear ya. They're asking for $50 here as well. I did want to see them, but I could go to 4 or 5 other shows for that price.

I really like the album. It's very authentic. And how cool is it that an album that sounds like it was recorded 30 years ago debuts at #7 on the Billboard Hot 200 album charts? I usually don't care about those things, but I think it's kind of impressive that bands like Devo, Duran Duran, The B-52's, and now The Cars have had very respectable (though brief) chart entries in this day and age...

The Cars were my favorite group in my imprssionable years as a teen. I had long given up that Ric Ocasek would join the other members again. After seeing their performance on Jimmy Fallon, I was quite happy to see and hear that they haven't changed much except for the loss of Benjamin Orr. Ric still looks the same.

I bought their new cd (mp3s) this morning and I really like it.

I had seen the "New Cars" perform three years ago... Good, but not the same without Ric.
