I had read that. Funny though, when I was first puzzling over the name I thought it was pronounced "M. I. Sex" and was a pun on MI6, the secret service in the UK.

Hey, just stopping by since i have some Mi-sex in my collection. Some of which I love!...i.e.; 12" of Space Race, 12" of Computer Games/GRAFFITI CRIMES (my favorite) and of course Castaway (us 7" lol)

As time has rolled on, i am realizing how many great, great bands came out of NZ and Australia. For instance, the Riptides, Dear Enemy, Midnight Oil, the Split Enz, and so many more

Back in thee early 80's, CBS/Epic released an in-store
only promotional VHS sampler of newer bands. It had the
Clash's "London Calling, Lene Lovich had two videos "Say
When" and "Lucky Number" and possibly some other videos,
but it also had Mi-Sex's "Computer Game". I already was
aware of the Clash & Lene Lovich, but this tape caused
me to by the Computer Games 12".
