Any good, free internet new wave radio stations?

I searched the forum for "radio" but got no hits. Can anyone recommend a good station? I tried Radio Nigel but for some reason I was having technical difficulties with it.

I listen to new wave on RadioIO. They play a wide variety of new wave hits and some obscure gems. You'll hear Depeche Mode, OMD, AFOS, and Duran Duran, however, be prepared to hear songs from "new wave" artists Cyndi Lauper, Toni Basil, Corey Hart, etc. I haven't heard any songs from Roxette, Toyah, The Colourfield, or Apart From The Crowd so RadioIO's new wave credibility may be suspect.

I was checking out the iTunes radio stuff. Under "Alternative" there are some good stations. I like "GEN-X RADIO"......and "DMODE RADIO".....

Thanks for the suggestions. The only one I had listened to was flashback alternatives. radioIO is pretty good--a little heavy on the hits, but good.

If you're over there, wish her all the best from the Light Blue Society...she'll know who they are.

Of course there are! The Live 365 ones are the best IMO. Out of which I listen to Club '80s and DarkSynth the most. Used to listen to New Wave Classics 77-86 and Acid House 86-91 as well but they are VIP only stations now and you have to pay to be able to listen to them. Unfortunately.

Thanks for the tip! Quite a few cool stations on live365 to choose from. Listening to kroq classics right now. My favorite station so far is probably Underground 80s on SomaFM.

(p.s. Most of the stations I've checked out only have one DJ. I don't know anything about how online radio works, but it seems like a massive amount of work. If it's 24x7 and doesn't repeat that would mean programming 350-400 songs per day.)
