Thanks for the tip! Quite a few cool stations on live365 to choose from. Listening to kroq classics right now. My favorite station so far is probably Underground 80s on SomaFM.

(p.s. Most of the stations I've checked out only have one DJ. I don't know anything about how online radio works, but it seems like a massive amount of work. If it's 24x7 and doesn't repeat that would mean programming 350-400 songs per day.)

You're welcome! Kroq Classics is another top station off the list. I should listen to it again. SomaFM's Underground 80s is worth a listen as well. Cheers for the reminder!

Yes, you're right about most of the stations having one DJ only. Neither do I, but I guess they have programmed playlists that keep on repeating over and over again. And they don't have to be awake all day long for that. They just put them play. And that's about it.

yeah I highly recommend kroq classics since its not those cookie cutter new wave stations. They play alot of forgotten songs but its just too bad they only limit it to the top 106 songs from the particular year

I was on a job shooting some furniture at Black Orchid, a boutique furniture store in Scottsdale, the owner had Alt 80s Classic Alternative internet playing through itunes, it was great.
