Bands you get mixed up

Postby manekineko » Sun Mar 06, 2005 5:45 am

Are there any bands that you sometimes get mixed up? You sometimes get them confused? Maybe their names are similar, or they start with the same letter. Maybe they have a similar sound. Maybe they have a similar look. Or maybe you just have a brain cramp and mistake one for the other. Here are some of mine:

Pet Shop Boys and Soft Cell
The Fixx and A Flock of Seagulls
Heaven 17 and Haircut 100
Pere Ubu and Midge Ure

I'm sure I have more than these, but I'm having a brain cramp.

I get Icicle Works and Ice Castles all mixed up. Does Melissa Manchester break into "Understanding Jane" as Robbie Benson and Lynn Hollie Johnson go for a twirl or am I all messed up?! Or was that in Harold and Kumar Go to Ice Castles??

Okay, it's real

Nickelback and Switchfoot and Hoobastank and Three Days Grace and Linkin Park and Trapt and Staind and 3 Doors Down.

I always have to check the screen on my iPod when one of these comes on. It's very frustrating.

A long time ago, I used to always get Squeeze and the Sparks mixed up. Not the music, just the names.
