so "let the music play"! [:D]

to note, I think Paul Robb was a fan of latin freestyle... they even said that InSoc was very popular in Latin community. Paul even produced Noel's "Silent Morning"... awesome freestyle track [:)]

Information Society's track "Running" is practically text-book latin freestyle. Sadly, it was buried late on side two of the album so kids who bought it for the US hits may have missed it. However, I remember hearing it in clubs around NYC before I'd ever heard 'What's on your mind'.

Johnny O's "Fantasy Girl" (a freestyle staple)is only inches away from being a Depeche Mode track!

this guy makes pretty much every 80's one-hit wonder list out there, but this other song of his has a great synth hook, an underrated tune [:D]

Indeed there many lost Synthfunk gems out there such as these, some of which got crossover play on NW format stations and danceclubs..
I'm reminiscing this especially now given the recent passing of WBLS's Hal Jackson, a pioneer PD & air personality who broke many such bands in the NY radio market..

Hey guys

I am a new wave fan, but come from more a disco, boogie, electro hip hop background, so I really enjoy tracks that play between the lines of synthpop, new wave, disco, electro and post punk like many of the ones mentioned.

Here are some favorites

He was one the early pioneers of Electro. Check his stuff out.[8D]
