2 obscure new wave/punk songs ($$$ Reward)

2 obscure new wave/punk songs ($$$ Reward)

Postby YouGotSoul » Fri Nov 05, 2004 1:37 pm

Though I fancy myself to be amongst the ultimate and hip new wave connoisseurs (with an equally impressive album collection to boast)..... I'm looking for two records/songs that were around the same time as many of the early 80's punk/new wave tunes. W

While I'm not quite sure of the titles, there is a line in the first song that goes
"Find Me A Way And I Will Do It, Find Me A Way, You Know I can Do It"

the other song has a passage that goes "Fire cant stop me, nothing can stop me, nothing can change my world is in slow motion"

If any of these are even remotely familiar to you or if have these in your collection, please let me know.

I've been looking for these since 1983!

To demonstrate how serious I am, I'm offering $100 from my PayPal account for verifiable information and identification of the song titles & artists.

Thanks,

A.

First song might be David Nielsen's "Find Me A Way"? See following link for lyrics:

It looks like Trucker nailed the first one.
You can also take a listen here:

I'm coming up blank on that second song.
The only thing I'm getting that is close is from

The second song you are looking for is by a band called AIRSTRIP ONE - the song is called "Satellite" it was available in both a 7 and 12 inch format and was released circa 1983. The 12 inch format includes "Satellite" (Slow Motion Mix). Hope that helps.
