I used to think "Send Me An Angel" (by Real Life) was sung by The Scorpions... who, strangely enough, also have a song called "Send Me An Angel" [8D]

As for me, the occasional ID mixup [:I] can be attributed to the soundalike qualities between these artists:

The Cure vs The Essence ("The Afterworld")

Depeche Mode vs Camouflage ("The Great Commandment") & Cetu Javu ("Situations")

Wow can you imagine how cool Grease would have been if Nina Hagen starred in it? Kick ass! Not to mention Xanadu! Now THAT would be the ultimate new waver movie![:D]

My mom used to think that Missing Persons were the Plasmatics. That always alluded

Depeche Mode and Camouflage were the ones I got mixed up sometimes. KROQ played them both and at first I really thought that the new Camouflage records were new Depeche Mode singles![:I]

Tears For Fears and Quiet Riot
Sisters of Mercy and The Bee Gees
Dead Kennedys and Bay City Rollers
