I'm trying to ID the song playing in the background of the clip...try to ignore the car engines, it was taken from a show called Classic Racers. The engines are just loud enough to obscure a fair bit of the lyrics.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to search for something from the lyrics that I could make out, but couldn't find anything.

I like it. I wonder who it is ....

The music in the show is excellent: too bad a bunch of rich old farts keep revving their vintage racing car engines over it. The show is on one of the HD channels we get on satellite. I've e-mailed them to see if I can get any info, but I'm not holding my breath.

Sorry, eight6. I downloaded the file, listened to it and over and over and I can't figure out who it is. I really like it though. Like Cookie says, damn catchy.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Not bad...almost 4 years to the day, but I FINALLY found out who this is. Actually, I found out about a year ago, but was never able to find this thread until today.
