Okay, I hope I post this correctly. (I'm new) This band, Fuzzbox, was not well known. They formed in the mid 80's, so maybe not technically New Wave in the pure sense of the term. However, in today's expanded definition of the term I see thrown around they would fit.

Fuzzbox were well known in the UK - or 'We've got a Fuzzbox & We're Gonna Use It' to give them their full title. Good choice :)

Thanks. Yeah, they were probably much better known in Europe. I meant that weren't well known in the States, at least not to my knowledge. I forgot that this board is international. [8D] [:D] Loved the "We've Got a Fuzzbox & We're Gonna Use It" album in high school; it was released under that title here.
