"They Call Me Bruce" Soundtrack

Postby TragicMagic » Mon Jun 19, 2006 1:36 pm

Guys... I used to always sing this song in my head for hours and hours. It came into my brain again the other day and prompted me to ask:

Does anyone have "Oriental Boy" the title track to the old 80's Kung-Fu spoof movie "They Call me Bruce"?

Ahem:

"Oriental Boy he can run..
Running Just as fast as he can
If you have the heart of a Camphor Dragon.."
..
etc..

I am thinking maybe Hutter is my best bet?! [:D]

Still looking for this one! seems quite the slippery little number!

I've done some new core searching but still not able to find it anywhere.

What's more.. i can't freaking believe its been 6 years almost to the day that I originaly was looking for it. That's spooky shit.

Ripped from the movie and tidied up a bit, none of this 'email me for it' bullshit:

it's a lost classic! I caught part of it on a random channel while overseas not long ago and it still makes me laugh. That title song always stuck in my head through back from when it first came out.

And then they did a sequel to it which wasn't as good as the original but still had it moments.

That's the one!

There are some good lines ('sex is very sacred for me, I always have to pray for it') but the original was far better.

Bwahaha he had some awesome lines throughout.

not verbatim, but I remember something like: "With my right hand I punch you face. With my left foot.. I kick you nose.. look at my face - I'm an oriental..."

Might have to track these 2 babies down methinks ;-)

[smiles] Love that line! The movie contained some good'uns!

You could certainly do worse than find and watch those again, anything that puts a smile on your is worth it! :)

Indeed! hehe Tracked down the full "with my..." quote:

"With my right foot I can knock out that knife, with my left, I can kick your nose. With this hand, I can poke out your eyes. With this, I can break your neck. Take a good look at my face. I'm an oriental"

Though I seem to recall it changing slightly each time he says it (from memory?) Hahah ahh nice.
