Want band info - Noh Mercy

Want band info - Noh Mercy

Postby hkm » Wed Dec 15, 2004 8:15 pm

Here's another one I'm trying to place.

I'm almost 100% poz the group is NOH MERCY.

I *think* it was an all-girl band, new wave/punk, late 70's-early 80's.

All I can remember of the lyrics is:

I don't mind high heels on a dyke
Just don't knock me off my bike -- hey!

I seem to recall this was issued as a very low-end 45 or ep. I don't think they ever put out a full album.
Anybody?

Thanks!

Henry

Sorry, forgot to post the info I have:

Noh Mercy Caucasian Guilt Earcom 3 / Fast Product compilation
Noh Mercy Revolutionary Spy Earcom 3 / Fast Product compilation

I think both tracks were on the same 45?

Any help with the lyrics

Hello, again. My wife thinks the song starts with the words: "I don't want to be politically correct."

Thanks & Happy Holidays!

Lyrics, don't know. But the year of the single was 1979.

You can see a snapshot of their stage show here:
