This is prolly the 3rd or 4th time I posted this tune. Still,24 years later and have yet to identify the band. Lousy recording from a 1981-82 cassette.This is from WRAS Atlanta back when music was truly good ! I'll try again since I see more new names on this site.

Lead singer sounds like Gary Numan.Could this be a rare track from Tubeway Army ?

I wish I could locate the other WRAS college DJ'S from '82 ....never happen. I found one about 15 years ago but she could not identify the band..oh well..thanks for any of you listening to the song and trying !

I have no idea, but they sound like they're American -- maybe some post-punk NYC band? Or could they be some indie band out of Athens, GA or Chapel Hill, NC?

Thanks for responding,you could be right about it being an early Athens GA. band.I grew up with that music back in the day in Atlanta..especially with the lesser known bands.Still,I am clueless !
