Help with this song title

There was this very obscure song from the mid to late 80's.
I don't know who sang it or the exact lyrics.
It was song about Madonna and in the song this male singer goes on and mentions how he slept with her and all she left was an autograph picture, and i remember something with the words "Spotlight" or In the spotlight.
I heard this damn song played once on the radio Lir in NY and never again but for some odd reason I can't get the memory out of my head.
So I am on a weird crusade to find this song.

I don't think it's the Sparks tune; I thought it might be that too. I looked at the lyrics and there was nothing about "spotlight" in them.

Are you sure it's not Sparks "Madonna"??? Lyrics do mention "big city LIGHTS" and the theme is how the singer slept with her and she left the next morning...
