I picked up one of their albums awhile back,but have yeet to listen to it yet.How good were they as a band,and what kind of style did they have? Meaning what other New Wave band did they sound like?

Cactus World News' music is in the vein as The Truth and Armoury Show. It is that Scottish/Midlands ringing guitar sound that emerged in the 80's. Both their cds, Urban Beaches and Years later (which was never released) are now available on their offici

I agree - scoop while you can at cactus World News official website. They are both remastered with bonus tracks, and nice info and artwork. I cannot imagine not having these two classic releases from the 80s. Their sound was as devildog put it, chiming, g

I have an album by The Truth,and they sounded alot like The Jam.Very Mod sounding and quite good.They even sounded more like The Jam's style then The Vapors used to,and that is saying alot,seeing how most New Wave fans have always said that The Vapors sou
