Was able to watch it on a flight from Phoenix to Denver. Is this channel available in most areas?? Had some great videos from when new wave was in it's infancy.

I think so. I watch "The Alternative" which really mixes up those 80's and 90's vids.

Saw a bit of the 70's show they have on and was miffed it was'nt vintage clips but new performances by 70's bands. Never thought I'd see recent footage of Kansas! Ho

You have to have digital cable or satellite and subscribe to the package that includes VH1 Classic. It's not available everywhere, but if you're in a major metro area, chances are it is. Call your cable company and say "I want my M... er... VH1 Classic.

VH1 Classic is awesome!

I just can't justify the expense of a full cable package just for ONE channel. I'm not even home that often and when I am I'm on the 'puter doing (music) research. ;)

VH1 Classic is available on flights now? Hell I wish I had that on my Minneapolis - england flights. Would have made that 8 hours go by like nothing.

VH1 Classic is really hit or miss. I've seen some really obscure stuff on there amidst a ton of crap.

I don't know how I feel about them playing The Sex Pistols in the 70's Rock Hour.

VH1 Classic can be interesting, I just avoid the metal shows.

The request hour always has a stretch of 4 or 5 videos in the middle that are more obscure and interesting.
