Phil Daniels And The Cross

Just who were these guys? This band was in no relation in any way to Chris Cross from Ultravox were they? And what and who did they sound like? Can anyone shed some light on this band for me please? Thank you.

Phil Daniels was an actor who starred in Quadraphenia and Breaking Glass. That album was him (more likely his management) trying to cash in on his relative fame in Britan. I haven't heard the album in over 10 years but from what I remember it was rather
