Jane Wiedlin on The Surreal Life

Postby buffalochipz » Sun Nov 14, 2004 1:28 pm

I love Jane Wiedlin. She has always been my favorite new wave chick. I could stare at her picture all night and listen to "Rush Hour" on an endless loop and never tire of it. I bought the CD from her band Frosted the week it came out and shed a little tear each time I see it in the cutout bins which happens A LOT. (There are 66 used and new Frosted CDs starting at 53 cents at this very moment on Amazon.)[:(]
Anyway.........
Now I see that she will be a castmember on the awful reality TV show The Surreal Life. I'm afraid to watch it. What if it turns out that my beloved Jane is actually an annoying bitch who's hateful and crass instead of the sassy little sexpixie that I've adored for the past 20 years? Should I tune in or risk having my "Jane-is-the-best-thing-EVER" bubble burst?

I was surprised to find out she's into fetishwear. Yum. Yeah the last season(3rd) of The Surreal Life was disappointing. The only reason to watch the 4th is for Jane.

I think the other housemates are Vern Troyer (Mini-Me) and former pro-wrestler Chyna.

Jane, hhhmmm... She is a cool woman. I remember back in about 1980 when the Go-Go's were on their promotional tour for the Beauty and Beat album, I saw them in Seattle and Bellingham. After the B-ham show I got them to the party house. The band gave m

Jane? Fetishwear? Give her a break, she was a Go-Go you know! What was going on in the house, in the above mentioned story, was nuts...

I didn't see the show, but wanted to just to see what she would do...
