X-15

Good to read about response to the great Seattle band X-15. They then changed their name in 1982 to Life In General in order to avoid lawsuit (some other band was using the name back east). The great pop song they came up with "Vaporized" is available on a CD entitled "Bombs and Insurance" by X-15 is available at www.cdbaby.com/X-15. Great display of their works. It goes way beyond the pop hit. Some seriously deep progressive punk rock.

Bands like this from Seattle during this era got the industry to look that way. Grunge came along and cashed in. Once hearing X-15 makes one wonder "how come these guys never got signed?".

Anyway, a great era of music that the world never saw. Grunge was just merely a by-product of this great scene. More X-15 will be released in 2005. Keep your eyes and ears pealed.
