I was hoping to copy all this stuff to digital some day, but that day may never come. So give me some advice. Should I
a) look for these on CD
b) post these for sale on the NWO Marketplace forum
c) stop whining, get the needed equipment and start copying
d) all of the above
e) none of the above

All are in primo condition, some never played / still sealed in plasticwrap.

Converting to digital is time consuming. I do it myself. Here is my advice:

For the LPs: If the whole album is available on CD, buy the CD. Buy used CDs.

The 12" singles will be hard to find. Consider them gold. Get the blasted equipment, record at

I've seen those, and yes, handy as hell. I ended up getting the B&O's for the following reasons:

1. The look: they look nothing like your standard TT.

2. It's got a tangential arm and a puny tracking weight of 1.0g. No wear on the vinyl.

Keep the vinyl and digitize. Get some friends involved to help. I digitize vinyl all the time and its not as complicated as you would think. I still buy all my punk on vinyl, play it once into my computer and then file it away. Best of both worlds.

I would personally never part with my vinyl, even when I get the CD some day. There is something about that record and vinyl jacket you just cannot replace with the CD version. Digitize the vinyl, it really is a simple process, albeit time-consuming but t

Thanks all. I appreciate the advice. I'll start looking for my stuff on eBay, Gemm, soulseek and the Wave Hub, then I'll get the gear and digitize what I can't otherwise find.
