I've been thinking about this for the last year. How often are you out there looking for releases in our chosen genre, and you come across something you've never seen or heard of before. And you find nothing on the net or in a book, not at AMG or Trouser Press Record Guide. Don't you wish that there was a book/website that discussed/reviewed the more-obscure releases?

Do you realize that Mike P has this incredible database right here on this website, the 'Albums List' and the 'Songs List' where you can submit your own reviews, comments, etc for posterity to see? Do you realize how few of us have ever written on this thing (myself only a measly couple times)??

Do you realize how many releases I've picked up (or at least checked out) just based on an enthusisatic review from a fellow new-wave fan, one who I may have never met before (ie - you guys/gals)? Have you done the same?

Don't we owe it to fellow new wave fans (and future fans) to provide some learned background into those releases we know and love, or those we know they should avoid?

There is nothing else out there!! Scary as it sounds, WE MIGHT BE IT!!

...If not you, who??
