Wasted Youth??

Wasted Youth??

Postby Rokkr » Mon Mar 14, 2005 2:01 pm

I have a tape I made maybe in the mid 80's. The tape I made is labelled Wasted Youth, but I've found nothing but a punk/metal band by that name.

I'm guessing at song titles, but I'd guess that some of them are:
Don't Get Me Wrong (not the Pretenders song)
Paris, France
She's Such a Housewife
Lipstick on My Pillow
Do the Caveman

And here are some lines and bear in mind they're not all from the same song:
"Maurice Chevalier and all that trash, they're just poor little French boys, they pretend they're gigoloes"

"The lipstick on my pillow, it never fades"

"Little Jimmy was a cowboy, he liked to ride on the range"

"Your jealousy, it's killing me"

"Young Jack was the leader of the band, young Jack thought he knew it all"

If this band was Wasted Youth, it's not the band I find reference to googling or on AMG. I'm pretty sure this recording was an import and not released in the US.

Any help would be appreciated.
