Hardest Hits

I managed to get a hold of this series and I must say from vol 1 it's pretty amazing! I missed this songs first time around but I need opinions on these songs from on vol 1 that really stand out.

The Puppets - The Way Of Life

and

The Passion Puppets - Like Dust

There are also a few others on this disc but are there others that really like these 2 songs? [8D]

Also, what other volumes are as good as volume 1 in your opinions?

I like volumes 3 and 4 the best. Volume one is ok, The Puppets song is always great to listen to.

Does anyone have an MP3 of "The Way of Life" by The Puppets that they can send my way? A million thanks if so!

They are all good. Vol. 5 is probably the weakest but I still love it. :) If you haven't bought the Retro:Active series yet, pick that up too. It picks up where Hardest Hits left and is actually a becoming the best New Wave compilation series ever.

The version of "Way Of Life" on Hardest Hits Vol. 1 is the Dance Mix (plus a '91 Edit). I wish the original 7" would show up on CD (it is on and early S.I.N. promo CD if you can find it, but taken from vinyl.)

Thanks for the recommendation Sean.

I'll make sure and pick up the Retro:Active series next.

It's too bad they ran short of supply. I only managed to get my greasy mits on vol. 3 and love it!
