"SL. Anno 2005 Visage is now back up and running, with all new band members. In fact you hired the complete line-up of the dark break beat female fronted act Seize. What attracted you so much in their work that you decided to work with them?

SS. It was a collaboration from working with John Taylor from Punx Souncheck and meeting up with Sandrine at a Visage gig that I heard some of their tracks and we both thought we would work well together.

SL. The old Visage songs will be re-recorded, what elements have been inserted?

SS. They're much more edgier in the vein of 2005. So far we've worked on “Fade To Grey”, “Mind of a Toy”, “Love Glove”, “Damned Don't Cry”, “Frequency 7”, and so far we're all very pleased with the working results. We had a talk about how harder and grittier the 2005 mix of “Fade to Grey” and “Damned Don't Cry” are and talked about the over all effect of sound about updating all the tracks for future gigs.

SL. There are also new songs in the pipeline, what can we expect from these?

SS. We're concentrating so hard on the old material that there are new songs to be added in the pipeline but with the schedule being so hectic and time not being on our side the new songs are having to take a back seat at the moment."

I hope their remakes don't spoil the orginals. Why remake the original great stuff?

2005 versions are ok as long as they are done in good taste. I understand why the bands do it though. If these are the songs that got them where they are, they are using it to sell their new songs. And if that's the case, I hope they have a lot of new
