The Nuns/Rank and File

Postby medication881 » Thu Aug 18, 2005 3:01 am

There is a guy at the radio station that is putting together a 1 hour radio special about Alejandro Escovedo. I was wondering if anyone here might have anything by The Nuns or Rank and File. I have 1 song by R & F called Amanda Ruth and that's it. Thanks everyone![8D]

I've got the double album CD release of Rank and File from Rhino if you would like anything off of that. Pretty good stuff! Besides Amanda Ruth i can recall the song Rank and File as very catchy.

Oh, my god, I have been looking for Amanda Ruth for ages! Could you send it to me, please [:o)]? I used to have a cassette of Rank and File, but I can't remember the other songs that I liked. I used to be into the whole cowpunk thing... Yeehaw!

I have 21 other tracks (other than Amanda Ruth and R & F). Should I shoot a few more your way? Don't want to overload your mailbox.

Al was really sick with Hepatitus in 2003, to the point where they didn't know if he was going to make it through. He's much better now and has been playing out sporadically for the last year.

And the Escavedo family is quite musical. In adition to Al you've got his little brother Mario who was in The Dragons, brother Javier who Al played with, and cousin Sheila E. formerly of Prince's band.
