...and flies on doo-doo. Am I all over this? Does the Pope wear a funny hat? Does a bear poop in the woods? Is a frog's ass watertight? Is there a complete lack of an exit strategy?!!!

YES!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that the same New Order Story that they put out on video years ago circa Republic? If so, that's a little lame but hey, it's better than them selling it in another package for another twenty bucks. I'm hoping it's another Story but then they should have come up with a new name.

For all you New Order fans:

In part two of our Time for Heroes series, Mylo presents the definitive history of one of the most important and influential bands of the past 25 years, New Order.

Recovering from the devastating death of singer Ian Curtis, Joy Division reinvented themselves as New Order to make the biggest-selling 12-inch single of all time, help invent house music and inspire a whole new generation of bands from the Killers to Bloc Party. Featuring contributions from the Chemical Brothers, Doves, Scissor Sisters' Ana Matronic, 2 Many DJs.

Brilliant.

Marvy...sweet. I love reading all those testimonials, especially DJ Grouper's long string. Get Ready and Siren's Call really have brought tremendous joy to me.

Wow, just wrapping that LONG audio piece. Excellent! It must be amazing to be someone like Ana Matronic who talks about her infatuation with them at 15 yrs old, waiting by the stage door to meet them, having to go home for curfew before she could...then freaking singing on stage with them at the Hammerstein!!! OMG, then her talking about putting her makeup on, hearing Transmission wafting back from the stage! Holy hell!!!

But my favorite is their recollection of the day in 1989 when Barney told the band he wanted to break off for awhile. I had no idea this occurred during their Irvine Meadows concert while they were staying at the Newport 4 Seasons in Fashion Island...all my oldl stomping grounds. It's hilarious to hear of them being trapped on the 405 at the Y, wondering why the F traffic was so bad on a Tuesday...there's was an F'ing New Order concert of course!!! I distinctly remember missing this concert even though I lived just down Moulton Pkwy past the Meadows - I was just starting to date my future wife and was too distracted!

Good times then and good times now - a constant! Damn Marvin, you've gotten me all jacked up for them again!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Blir, you know the deal: New Order OWN & RULE like no other.

I did'nt listen to the entire BBC documentary as I was rushing to go to the pool with the family. Just got back BTW. But I did record it and will burn it to disc for future listening. And re-listening. I'll be sure to send you and Schwenk copies as well.

No, it is the Japanese version, which was an hour or so longer IIRC.
And dont worry, it will be in English!
