This is the latest release derived from members of The Plastics, a Japanese new wave group from the late 70s early 80s. I picked it up in Japan last month, and is part of a series of releases marking the 25th anniversary of the Plastics (this is all new material; archival releases include the 2CD compilation Origato 25, and the DVD/CD release Hard Copy, with Live at Yaneura (CD), and US Tour 1981 (DVD).
PlasticSex consists of Plastics mainman Toshi Nakanishi (aka Tycoon To$h) and ex-Pizzacato 5 singer Maki Nomiya. Ex Plastics Hajime Tachibana plays guitar on 1 track (Dust), and Cornelius (Keigo Oyamada) guests as a producer/instrumentalist on 2 tracks.
There are a total of 14 tracks, running about 63 minutes. Overall I would say that the album reminds me a lot of Talking Heads, early/mid 80s vintage. One track, BEA, sounded like David Bowie's Golden Years, and another, Jaipur, was reminiscent of the Beatles I Am the Walrus!
Actually they cover The Beatles Tomorrow Never Knows (as well as Robert Fripp's Under Heavy Manners).

The Cd booklet is "chotto henna" (a little strange, perverted), with some phallic and other anatomical imagery.
