Despite my love of 80's NW, I think about 75% of music made in the 80's is utter garbage worthy only of cheesy nostalgia, with most bands seemingly able to come up with only one great single (which is fine).

I never owned a Clash, Ramones or Ministry album.

I never owned a pair of Doc Martins.

I only owned one mini-skirt and I didn't buy it until 1985.

I loved New Order but thought they were the biggest disappointment in

I have an ABBA cd.

I think Paula Abdul had a couple of good songs.

I love Baccara's "Yes Sir I can Boogie" because they pronounce "boogie woogie" as "boogie voogie."

I owned a copy of the Peter Frampton/Bee Gee's Sgt. Peppers lp long before I would ever become familiar with the Beatles version.

When I was a kid, I thought Barry Manilow was cool. Asked for the album (actually 8-track) of the album Even Now for my birthday one year. (that was the one with copacabana on it) No wonder I got beat up alot in school. I was the total nerd bookworm geek

The first album I ever owned was The Carpenters - Close to You. My parents gave it to me for my 10th birthday. I still think they made gorgeous music.

Well, I'll never admit just how much I liked the Carpenters' songs. My friends would no longer be friends...lol. It's a secret I'm carrying to my grave. [:(]
