Here are a ton (over 200) of Mod Pop Punk mp3s circa 1979 (if you like that kind of music).

I found it while Googling 'Squire - It's A Mod Mod World' which led me to the site here:

Very cool. This is gonna take a long time to download. One must change the filenames(do a Save As) and fill in the id3v2 tags. But still, hey, free mp3s.

Maybe we could each agree to take a letter of the alphabet and then post them up via you send it?

Since my last name starts with C, I could do all the C's (looks to be about 26).

Anyone else want to make this an easier project for everyone?
Chime in if you want a letter.

I just downloaded most of the A section, with proper artist - track name for the filename.

With some customizing of windows explorer file views, most of the id3v2 tags aren't filled in, but I could do it in Itunes.

The files aren't shared via soulseek yet, as they are sitting on my desktop. That way I won't be downloading the same file twice. It pre-populatse the filename so it tells me if i downloaded it yet.

Exactly what I thought when I first read this latest thread... it goes back even further as I remember being pointed to it well over a year ago.
