LA's hardcore scene,greatest lost band could be Flyboys, along with some Crowd,UXA or Sumbol Six.Flyboys were totally different,four power poppers basically,with nods to organ driven surf rock and 60s pop.Like Agent Orange first rate clones,couldn't find their target group of fans along with their confused image.I still can't get from my head their still fresh hardcore punk/pop, catchy melodies and the great cover of their only mini lp.They could have flown higher for sure...

Just found a copy of their Frontier Records EP last year. Great piece of vinyl.
