hey all.
i'm new to this message board.
i'm really into 80's new wave, and alot of the current new wave type dance-punk bands. could some of you help me find some more awesome stuff to look into?
some of my current favorites include (but aren't limited to)
the faint
kaiser cheifs
the epoxies
VCR
the rapture
thats just a few for now.
i'm really into any thing thats heavy on the synthasizer action.
any help is greatly appriciated!

i had no idea there were so many groups still doing new wave type stuff! [:0]
it's going to take me a year to look up all that's been listed so far!

In my review of "Grandessa Tissen" by Parker (from Sweden),

I've just seen the video of The Arcade Fire's "Rebellion (Lies)" and I think it's pretty good. I like the gothic voice and I don't know, but, it somehow rings an influence of early U2 esp. on the intro (reminds me of "Pride").
