I'll paypal $50 to the first person who can ID

I am desperate. I have been looking for these two songs ever since I heard them played on KROQ FM way back in the early 80s.

I can only recall the chorus or a couple of lyrics.

I'll paypal $50 to the first person who can ID the title, artist or even give me a line on where I can find the album, cassette or 45.

First One:

"...fire can't stop me.... nothing can change.... my world is in slow motion"

Second One:

"find me a way and I will do it.... find me a way, you know I can do it..."

Again, I'm standing by with paypal cash. Help a brother out!

The second song from your post is "Find Me A Way" by LA Burgers. I've tried to find info on this band previously, but there's not much out there. I know David Nielsen was the main man in the group. Maybe someone who was plugged into the LA scene back then could throw us a bone.

The first song is by a band called AIRSTRIP ONE. The song is called "Satellite". It was available in both a 7 & 12 inch format. The best version is on the 12 inch single ("Slow Motion Mix"). The band also released one other single that I am aware of titled "Social Fools". I believe both singles were released in 1982. They can be easily purchased through on-line sites such as GEMM.COM.
Hope that helps!
