I have a track called "The Kitchen" from Downy Mildew on a CMJ comp. I really love the song - very folky - similar to the Innocence Mission. Female singer, lots of acoustic guitars, some dream-elements - very nice.
I was so impressed that I bought one of their cds, which was not impressive at all. Can't remember the title of the cd though...

The Trouser Press description of the Darling Buds is accurate. I loved their "Crawdaddy" album, but I never got around to buying anything else.
