Arcadia - Best Song? I Need Your Help

Postby buffalochipz » Mon May 09, 2005 2:01 pm

I'm kinda' ignorant about New Wave, but after visiting this hub for a few weeks now, I know that Arcadia is the king of New Wave. What is their best song? I just saw them in California, and they closed with an encore of How Soon Is Now? which is now my favorite by far! What album did that come off of?, because I have both of their full length albums. Was it a single?

Thanks, can't wait for your input!

"Don't You Want Me" got my vote. I know Bryan Ferry's voice when I hear it and that song just rocks! I have the mp3.....

I picked "Running Up That Hill," because I LOVE the way Billy Idol sings, and besides, that's who my ID3 says does it.

A second choice would have to be "Vacation," because I am the biggest David Bowie fan.

"Strangelove" is the greatest Arcadia song EVER! The way Boy George's voice perfectly compliments that of George Michael's and Bono's is stunning! And to think of all the money they raised to feed starving kids in Antarctica with just that one song. Amazi

I can not believe what I am reading here!!! [:D][:D][:D] Hilarious!

Anyhow, I prefer "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" which I think is originally done by Psychedelic Furs! [:D]

Edited: I just remembered that "Everybody Wants to Rule the World"

The flame isn't complete without an updated profile picture. (dammit - he resized it!)
