Apologies up front if people here thinking I'm fishing in the wrong lake but I just don't know where else to post this. Wasn't sure if folks' music knowledge on this board extends to early 90s Brit-synth pop, but I figured I'd give it a shot:
I've been looking for a song that came out around 91-92 (maybe '90), it is as I alluded to, sort of ambient (not techno!) Brit synth pop, with these elements:
-acoustic guitar
-"airy" synth string chords
-I believe it's in the key of e minor (for the musicology-informed)
Last clue, it was used in the mid-to-later 90s (95-97 time frame) in a Nike or Gatorade commercial...the reason I don't know which is because I distinctly remember in the commercial they were playing soccer.
TIA
