Are these *good* remixes where the song is complimented or strengthened by the mix, or are they Junior Vasquez-style remixes, where the song takes a backseat to the "look at me and my mad skillz" wankery of the DJ in question?

Most of these to me are just wankery but I did like the Devo-Girl U Want remix. It actually sounded like something Devo would've done themselves.

I've heard plenty of lame remixes, most of these are good.
The best of the bunch perhaps being:
The Walk (Infustion Mix ) The Cure
Need You Tonight (Static Revenger Mix Edit) INXS
Bizarre Love Triangle (The Crystal Method Extended Mix) New Order
and
New Song (Peter Black & Hardrock Striker Mix Edit) Howard Jones (A song I probably would have never given another listen to without the cool remix).
I mean we're talking Crystal Method here, not "DJ Jelly Bean" or whatever.
Of course, it always comes down to a personal taste thing. Sample it and decide for yourself at iTunes.
