Request H20 - Blue Diamond and Win - Shampoo Tears

Postby MasMic » Sun Apr 16, 2006 3:44 am

I was a huge fan of WLIR and have a lot of the songs they played back in the 80's. Recently I heard 2 songs on Flashback Alternatives that were released back then, but as far as I know WLIR didn't play them. They seemed really good and would have fit their format but...

Does anyone have either H20 - Blue Diamond or Win - Shampoo Tears?

Is anyone familiar with these bands? If so, are these songs typical of their sound?

Stop back at Flashback Alternatives
and request...

H20 - Dream to Sleep
and
Win - Super Popoid Groove

WLIR played H20, but I don't recall Win.

I don't see what the fuss was about the two bands. "Dream to Sleep" is a good track, but little else of theirs stands out. As for Win, they worked hard for their well-deserved obscurity.

As for "Win - Super Popoid Groove", how on earth that managed to chart is beyond me, it's trying too hard to be catchy.

Thank you! These seem hard to find. You must have some collection!
Do you have "Dream To Sleep"? I'd like to hear it.
