OK, so [:I] we have this funny little tradition at work: after we pass a big bill (such as a budget) out of my committee we do a little dance to an instrumental. (Yes, the stuffy lawyer lets down her hair and dances, though the dance resembles the gopher twist from "Caddyshack.")
Now that I have a new boss we need a new song and I'm trying to make the shift from boomer stuff to something more Modern (capital M in the NW sense). My nominations so far:
"Think Pink," by the Fabulous Poodles
"One Step Beyond" by Madness.
Any other suggestions? I want to make a CD of candidates for my next staff meeting.

The Police 'Regatta De Blanc'
Or on a slightly more vocalized note: Cult Hero's 'I Dig You' (Yew dig mae?)
Or Moev's 'Crucify' (Good for a corporate lynch meeting[;)])
Finally: Not New Wave, but worthy of mention: Deodato's - 2001 Theme (Sprach Zarathustra)
