My illusion, Worn like a mask of self-hate

Walk in silence.

My friends, family, chum buckets, (ex-)enemies, and all around Internet buds! How the hell are ya?

I'm here to let you know about my latest blog entry. I know, I know, I swore blogs away a couple of weeks ago, but I just couldn't help it. It grabbed me by the 'nads and made me do the Safety Dance.

My latest work of fiction (heh, heh...) was actually conjured up yesterday from scratch. It started off as an autobiographical account of how I felt Thursday night, and the extreme disillusionment I encountered yesterday when all I could muster was my own futility. Yes, this is what I sketched, and after going through about five different pens, I got online and started typing. I'm a much better writer with a PC than I am with a pen and a pad, so it just morphed into what it became (well, duh).

Or maybe I did not want to divulge information that would actually leave me vulnerable...

Here are some early reviews:

"Well I must say that I liked it very, very much... how could I not? (Loved it more like it...mesmerized and in awe
too) You write so well."

See, and I didn't even pay her to say that. (But I'm sure some a-ha tracks couldn't help...)

"Once again *audience claps loudly, cheers ring through the audience* Bravo. Another master piece."

Like the New York Times, baby. (Or the New York Post...I forgot which one was the reputable one nowadays. Screw it -- like The Wall Street Journal.)

"Magnifique, maestro, this one deserves a refrigerator magnet along with the rest."

He makes it sound like I pin up my work on the cold box. Hello -- living homeless here. 'Sides, how can my manifesto cancel out gravity?

"Put it next to the barbeque magnet and bottle with the fish in it..."

Oh, well, there you go. He's like the Martha Stewart of papers-on-fridges decor, this guy. (Also, he has my fridge memorized a bit too well...Caprisun-snatcher...)

Just imagine if you were to read this. Eh? Eh? Yeah, you'd be spinning Charlotte yarns, too.

I promised you a miracle, and you can find it at:

And if you happen to be a fellow 'Spacer (that's MySpacer, for those who aren't in the know), you would have already read my bulletin, right? Regardless of your indignation at having missed this jewel-of-a-bulletin, here is the link:

The name of the blog entry is "Breathless Bystander".

And that's all there is to that, I guess.

Don't be a stranger, or I might just getcha.

(But seriously, read the damn thing. I lose a piece of my spirit every time my soul goes unread...)

Godspeed.

Don't walk away, in silence.
