Living in New York, I tend to have a New York bias in all things musical. I have uploaded two tracks by New Yorkers Klein & M.B.O. who had a hit in 1982, <a href="http://www.sendspace.com/file/9rljr4" target="blank">"Dirty Talk"</a>. I have uploaded my personal short edited versions of this track , and <a href="http://www.sendspace.com/file/pwb96c" target="blank">"Wonderful"</a>(for the non dancefloor oriented peeps). Many DJs speculate that Dirty Talk must have been influential on the work of New Order, it was being heavily played in 1982 in New York, and Italy and the rest of Europe at more underground clubs. Dirty Talk certainly mixes quite nicely with Blue Monday, which came out in 1983. The Pet Shop Boys gave props to Dirty Talk by including it in their Back to Mine compilation... The vocals are not that strong, but the synth lines are decent. As an added bonus, I have uploaded a <a href="http://www.sendspace.com/file/11jzw6" target="blank">track</a> that came out in 1983, which was very popular with the break dancers. With some production and mixing touches by Arthur Baker and Jelly Bean Benitez, you really can't go wrong. All rips are from the original vinyl pressing.
