New song by The Killers

If you head over to The Killers web site, you can hear a new song by them.

It should automatically begin playing.

I'm looking forward to their new album (release date in sometime in September, I think). Supposedly, it's early-Bruce Springsteen influenced. I'm not a big Bruce fan, but we'll see.

Thanks BMG. I think a lot of people are waiting for that album...hoping they weren't flashes in the pan and can live up to the goodness of some of their songs rather than live down to the blandness of Flowers himself. I hope it's truly Springsteen-influenced. Mix the majesty of his Born to Run days with an alt-pop flair could be a great sound.

If that's the lead single, they're done for.

The single from "Hot Fuss" that Brandon Flowers pissed and moaned until Island finally pulled it was superior to that. So were 2 or 3 tracks that never got the chance to be singles.

Oh, I don't know - I'm really liking this new song. It's got a nice, catchy melody - I'm hearing some nice keyboards in the background. Definitely an early Springsteen sort of epic rock sound paired with dancey drums and soaring guitars. Yeah, I dig it.
